Residents of Lemmon Valley, Nevada are blaming increased development for the [link url=”http://kunr.org/post/ongoing-flooding-leaves-some-lemmon-valley-residents-underwater-photos-video#stream/0″ title=”current flooding from Swan Lake”], stating that water being displaced as land levels are built up for development forces more water into the lake. County officials disagree, indicating that storms raging since October have dumped copious amounts of water in the area, [link url=”http://www.rgj.com/story/news/2017/03/22/snowmelt-projection-offers-hope-flooded-nevada-neighborhood/99515742/” title=”which flows into Swan Lake”] – the valley’s lowest point – and has resulted in the flooding. Two other women made abuse allegations against Cedric Anderson, the gunman, including one former domestic partner who stated that he tried to suffocate her with a pillow. When Anderson opened fire at the school on Monday, he struck his wife and two students, killing his wife and fatally injuring one of the students, who died at the hospital, before turning the gun on himself.
