Start a degree program at American Public University.

On Monday, July 1, the Success Center, a new online resource, will be available on both the AMU and APU student ecampuses. The Success Center is designed to assist AMU and APU students with planning and achieving their academic, career, and personal goals.

This resource will contain a catalog of videos, podcasts, and other relevant content as needed throughout an academic program. The resources in the Success Center will continue to be updated and new content will be added, so be sure to check back regularly!

Features of the Success Center

The Success Center has several built-in features for students’ convenience. For example, it has a filter system to help users find its content in the desired format, such as webpages, articles, PDFs, videos or podcasts. In addition, students can filter the results depending on their academic level – graduate or undergraduate.

The Success Center also has a search feature. This feature enables students to look up any content on a particular academic or career-relevant topic, including:

  • Registering for courses
  • Student organizations
  • Capstone, practicum and thesis courses
  • University policies, including graduation requirements
  • Financial aid
  • Disability accommodations
  • Our e-portfolio resource, Portfolium
  • Academic programs
  • Mentoring
  • Academic advising
  • Mental health resources
  • Career exploration
  • Advice on resumes, interviewing, and other related job-search topics
  • Career services such as career coaching and mock interviews
  • Upcoming Virtual Career Fairs

This new online resource provides much of what AMU and APU students will need to know throughout the educational journey. Be sure to stop in and visit after it opens! A link will soon be available at the top of the ecampus.
