On Monday, you looked at the list of work you have to finish for your history course. The list was typical–one 300-word message board post, four 150-word responses to your fellow students, three chapters to read, and one midterm to take.
After reading the syllabus, you know that the midterm will be essay-based and you will have three hours to complete it once you start it.
As such, you plan to finish the reading and complete all the message board stuff first. You figure that by completing it all in advance, you will be that much more prepared for the midterm. However, there are some delays. You do not finish everything until Sunday evening and you start the quiz at 7:00 PM that night.
